HELE DANMARK PÅ GADEN FOR PALÆSTINA – VÅBENHVILE NU!

Dette er en gående demonstration. Programmet starter på Esplanaden og slutter ved Christiansborg Slotsplads.

Vi kalder til stordemonstration i København for at højt og tydeligt lade vores politikere vide, at vi kræver øjeblikkelig og varig våbenhvile, ubegrænset adgang til nødhjælp, en ende på den ulovlige belejring af Gaza og frigivelse af de over 7000 palæstinensiske gidsler i Israel mod frigivelsen af de resterende israelske gidsler i Gaza.

Vi opfordrer hele Danmark til at gå på gaden for at vise vores regering, at de står til ansvar og bør handle øjeblikkeligt. Regeringen har blod på deres hænder, og de skal vide, at vi mener det, når vi råber: Danmark siger nej til folkemord!

Israel har efter en “pause” i krigshandlingerne genoptaget folkedrabet af den palæstinensiske befolkning i Gaza på voldsom vis. Hundredvis af mennesker er dagligt blevet dræbt af israelske bomber; “krigszonen” er blevet udvidet yderligere af Israel mod syd ved grænsen til Egypten, og ingen steder er sikre længere. Al mad, vand, elektricitet, brændstof og medicinske forsyninger er blokeret af Israel. 1,8 million mennesker er drevet på flugt svarende til 80% af Gazas samlede befolkning.

Israels massive angreb på den palæstinensiske civilbefolkning har stået på i næsten to måneder nu. Vi kan ikke længere se stiltiende til, mens civile dræbes, hospitaler og skoler bombes, og børn sulter til døde. Mere end 15.500 palæstinensere er blevet dræbt under de israelske bombardementer, over 6.600 af dem er børn (04/12/2023). Hepatitis og andre sygdomme, der lige nu spredes i Gaza grundet den humanitære krise, truer yderligere med at slå tusinder af børn og voksne ihjel.

Antallet af dræbte og fordrevne i Gaza overgår allerede nu Nakbaen (katastrofen i 1948), og det frygtes, at situationen vil ende med en total etnisk udrensning af den palæstinensiske befolkning – denne gang i Gaza. Israels premierminister Netanyahu har erklæret, at Gaza vil blive forvandlet til en “affolket ø”. Israelske parlamentsmedlemmer opfordrer åbent til en ny Nakba, og Israels forsvarsminister har stemplet palæstinensere som “dyr”.

Alt imens Gaza bombes, angriber og skyder israelske soldater og bosættere på Vestbredden palæstinensere uden konsekvenser. På Vestbredden har FN siden 7. oktober registreret i gennemsnit fem bosætterangreb om dagen, og israelske soldater og bosættere har her dræbt mindst 254 palæstinensere, herunder 65 børn (04/12/23).

Det har aldrig været vigtigere at stå sammen og sige magthaverne imod. Vi opfordrer hele Danmark til at komme til København d. 10. december og vise befolkningens sammenhold og styrke til at sige fra over for nyere tids mest grusomme folkemord. Vi må og skal fylde hele Københavns gader til denne demonstration. Nok er nok!

Støt den palæstinensiske kamp mod kolonisering, militær besættelse, massakre og racistisk apartheidpolitik – støt den palæstinensiske kamp for frihed, retfærdighed og selvbestemmelse!

ALL OF DENMARK TAKE TO THE STREETS FOR PALESTINE – CEASEFIRE NOW!

This is a walking demonstration. The program starts on Esplanaden and ends at Christiansborg.

We are calling for a large demonstration in Copenhagen to loudly and clearly let our politicians know that we demand an immediate and lasting ceasefire, unlimited access to emergency aid, an end to the illegal siege of Gaza and the release of the over 7.000 Palestinian hostages in Israel in exchange for the release of the remaining Israeli hostages in Gaza.

We call on all of Denmark to take to the streets to show our government that they are responsible and should act immediately. The government has blood on their hands, and they must know that we mean it when we shout: Denmark says no to genocide!

After a “pause” in their hostilities, Israel has resumed the genocide of the Palestinian population in Gaza in the uttermost violent manner. Hundreds of people have been killed daily by Israeli bombs; the “war zone” has been further extended by Israel towards the south at the border with Egypt and nowhere is safe anymore. All food, water, electricity, fuel and medical supplies are blocked by Israel. 1.8 million people have been displaced, equivalent to 80% of Gaza’s total population.

Israel’s massive attack on the Palestinian civilian population has been going on for almost two months now. We cannot stand by while civilians are being killed, hospitals and schools are being bombed, and children starve to death. More than 15.500 Palestinians have been killed during the Israeli bombardments, over 6.600 of them are children (04/12/2023). Hepatitis and other diseases, which are currently spreading in Gaza due to the humanitarian crisis, further threaten to kill thousands of children and adults.

The number of people killed and displaced in Gaza already exceeds the Nakba (the catastrophic displacement and massacre of the Palestinians in 1948), and it is feared that the situation will end with another large-scale ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian population – this time in Gaza. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has declared that Gaza will be turned into a “depopulated island”. Israeli MPs are openly calling for a new Nakba, and Israel’s defense minister has branded Palestinians “animals”.

All while Gaza is being bombed, Israeli soldiers and settlers in the West Bank are attacking and shooting Palestinians without consequence. In the West Bank since October 7, the UN has recorded an average of five settler attacks per day, and Israeli soldiers and settlers have killed at least 254 Palestinians, including 65 children (04/12/23).

It has never been more important to stand together and speak out against those in power. We call on all of Denmark to come to Copenhagen on Sunday December 10 and show the population’s unity and strength to speak out against the most cruel genocide of recent times. We shall and must fill the entire streets of Copenhagen for this demonstration. Enough is enough!

Support the Palestinian struggle against colonization, military occupation, massacres and racist apartheid policies – support the Palestinian struggle for freedom, justice and self-determination!
